About

My name is Sidney D. Osborn and I am a chemical technician at Kutol Products Company in Sharonville, OH where I work in quality control for various hand hygiene products. I recently developed an interest in computer science and am working toward a longer-term career shift towards data science. My hobby is basically trying new hobbies, from hiking, American Civil War history, astronomy, floor hockey, philosophy, and many other things.

I studied chemistry, biology and liberal arts, finishing three associate's degrees in 2007 and my bachelor's in 2008. I have worked as a chemical technician in the local Greater Dayton and Cincinnati, OH areas for the last decade. I have more recently studied data science in taking classes leading to finishing the IBM Data Science Specialization in 2020. I am now considering returning to graduate school to complete a master's in computer science. In my spare time, I like to volunteer to help the less fortunate such as at-risk inner-city youth, working the sound board at my local church. You can find me on any of my social media links.

I live in Dayton, OH, with my lovely wife Melody and my local church community at Grace Christian Fellowship.
